The Perfect Fit:

Get Your Right Bra Size In Two Easy Steps!

Before you go looking for a bra that will fit you, you need to find out two things first:

  1.  your band size
  2.  your cup size

Only then can you find a bra that will fit you properly.

1

To find out your band size:

  •  measure around the body, just under the arms, with a measuring tape
  •  measure in inches
  •  remember to stand up straight and breathe normally
  •  if the measurement is an uneven number, round up to the next even number.

2 To find out your cup size:

  •  measure around your body at the fullest part of the bust
  •  measure in inches
  •  be certain the measuring tape is secure against your back
  •  subtract first measurement from the bust measurement and look at the following chart to determine your size.

Here are some tips how to tell if your bra doesn’t fit correctly:

Don’t Worry – Bra Happy!

perfect fit

Difference between band and bust measurement = cup size

If you have a larger cup size, you might need a special bra for playing sports. These bras have extra support, reduce pain and physical discomfort caused by breast movement during exercise. If you don’t have a sports bra but feel like you need one, you can try wearing two bras at the same time to increase breast support.

Get the right fit

You might be surprised to hear that problems such as skin irritation under your breasts, headaches, back, neck and shoulder pain and poor posture can all be attributed to wearing an ill-fitting bra.

There are also bras designed for wearing under specific clothes, such as strapless, push-up and cross back bras. There are also padded bras designed to give you a fuller shape. You have the right to choose whether or not you want to wear a bra.
