MSP is an NGO that works towards enabling Pacific women, youth and children to have greater access to quality health services and information to make healthy life choices whereas Aspire Network is a youth NGO that works in the area of youth development and children. Together we aim to introduce youth to the topics of child protection and women’s empowerment to end sexual assault and gender based violence and to raise awareness of the services available to youth. The workshop is an opportunity for youth to consider how they can impact on these issues and contribute to a healthier and safer future for children and youth in Fiji.

This two day participatory workshop will cover a variety of topics and interactive sessions related to child protection & ending Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), thus stimulating discussion amongst young people and empowering young people to play a major role in recognizing and responding to children and youth at risk in Fiji.

The outcome of the workshop will be taken into account by MSP and Aspire Network for further development and training for young people in the areas of child protection and VAWG, adolescent health to assist youth to make good choices.
